Role: AV Site Manager & Installation Lead

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Ireland – Dublin

Salary: Competitive and negotiable dependent on experience, plus company benefits and vehicle

As our business and client base continues to develop further, we now have a newly created opportunity for an experienced AV Installation Engineer to be responsible for leading day-to-day site activities, installation teams, subcontractors, and project delivery activities across AV projects. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising and/or coordinating project related resources, including Kinly team members, sub-contractors, and external trades

  • Monitor project progress in cooperation with Project and Program manager(s)

  • Coordinate project and resource schedules to accomplish project milestones according to the project schedule

  • Managing on site logistics, ordering consumables, stock control and deliveries

  • Maintain and update proper project records including bills of material, asset registers, and drawings (red-lines)

  • Escalate project concerns to operations management team

  • Monitor installation work to ensure the highest standard is kept through all stages of a project

  • Monitor site conditions to ensure appropriate delivery of sensitive equipment

  • Ensure safe working conditions and manage safety incidents in accordance with Kinly and specific site policy

Skills and experience:

  • Expertise in installation, termination and configuration of professional AV systems

  • Experience in rack fabrication, prestaging, delivery, and on-site field termination

  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, cable types, and infrastructure standards

  • Experience with AV-over-IP technologies and digital signal processing systems

  • Familiarity with networks and network protocols

  • Ability to conduct site surveys and assess room readiness

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of AV installers and junior engineers

  • Proficiency in planning and managing the site logistics of AV installations

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and team assignments

  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery

  • Familiarity with AV industry standards such InfoComm/AVIXA CTS

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex AV issues and implement effective solutions in high-pressure environments

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to unforeseen challenges during installations

  • Happy to work in a global and collaborative team
