As part of the Global Services (GS) Procurement Team, based in the US, reporting directly to the Procurement Team Leader and in turn to the Head of Procurement, both based in the UK, this is a hybrid role working with the GS Procurement, Operations and Sales teams. Meaning there will also be a dotted reporting line to the US based GS Sales & Business Administrator.

As you manage the procurement of our GS projects and company overheads in the US, whilst also being responsible for providing sales support to account managers and aid in business administration functions for the GS team.

This will be a varied role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Procurement Assistant

  • Loading and ordering installation projects and Boxdrops sales in GP Dynamics.
  • Managing and liaising with Project Managers, Projects Coordinators and Sales regarding projects timelines.
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm costs and ETAs of kit.
  • Raising purchase orders for kit, consumables and services.
  • Chasing suppliers on outstanding orders.
  • Keeping to project deadlines.
  • Assisting with other office ad hoc duties including answering the phone and covering other Purchasers’ work if on leave, as and when required.

Sales Administrator

  • Manage incoming quote requests and generate sales paperwork/quotes for these accounts
  • Responsibility for logging entries on software systems and processing orders
  • Coordination of requests through internal departments and external suppliers
  • Responsible for keeping prices and contracts up to date
  • Ad hoc admin duties
  • Independently lead special - initiated projects
  • Support the GS US Team’s internal communications
  • Arranging and booking travel and accommodation for non-project related travel

Job requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 1-3 years’ experience working in a sales support or similar role
  • Previous experience working in technology
  • Polished, professional demeanor


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.

Mathematical Ability:

  • Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

  • Outlook Management
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • MS Teams
  • WebEx
  • Zoom
  • HubSpot
  • CRM
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred.
