About The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a provisioning engineer trainee who will receive product training and delivery experience by assisting in the configuration and deployment of standards room solutions such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet & Cisco Webex solutions.

Reporting to the engineering director and training mentors, the provisioning engineer trainee role will be responsible in assisting our commissioning department with the configuration, delivery, verification and optimisation of our standard meeting room solutions.

The provisioning engineer trainee will be continuously trained into the role of a product specialist for the successful delivery of our standard video solutions and audiovisual endpoints.

KEY SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the configuration, delivery, verification and optimisation of Kinly standard room solutions;
  • Working closely with our pre installations manager, project manager and commissioning team to ensure all standard solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Fast track product training and personal skills development in endpoint configuration and delivery skills.
  • Keep up to date on products, market trends, standards and best practices.
  • Assist in the offsite configuration of Kinly standard room solutions to promote efficient onsite deployment.
  • Oversee and manage the delivery and installation of hardware into the customer environment ensuring Kinly’s enviable levels of quality are always adhered to.
  • Verify the installed solution in line with Kinly QA and ensure high standards throughout.
  • Optimise the configuration of the in room equipment and hardware placement to ensure the highest possible quality of solution for our customers.
  • Hand over the solution to our customer or customer representative to agree acceptance, log any concerns and gather positive feedback.
About The Candidate

REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of IT, networks and endpoint configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of unified communication technologies – Microsoft, Zoom, Cisco & Google
  • Working knowledge of CAD / Visio.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential.
  • Ability to work under tight timescales.
