Role: Sales Analyst
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (6-8 months)
Location: London or Sunbury-upon-Thames (hybrid working is available)
Salary: Excellent salary (negotiable and dependent on experience), plus company benefits

Due to our continued progression and expansion, we now have a new opportunity for a proven Sales Operations Analyst to join our highly collaborative sales function, on an initial 6-8 months contract.
The position will be responsible for analysing sales performance, forecasting revenue, maintaining sales reporting, and providing actionable insights that improve commercial performance.
The role acts as the link between Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, ensuring leadership teams have accurate data to drive decision-making and also supports CRM management, sales process optimisation, pipeline governance, forecasting accuracy, and sales enablement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
Sales Performance Analysis
Analyse sales performance data and identify trends.
Monitor KPIs, conversion rates, win/loss ratios, and pipeline health.
Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
Provide recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.
Forecasting & Planning
Build and maintain order intake forecasts and support finance revenue forecasting.
Analyse historical sales data and market trends.
Support territory planning, target setting, and quota management.
Monitor forecast accuracy and provide variance analysis.
CRM & Data Management
Ensure CRM data quality and integrity.
Develop reporting dashboards and sales analytics.
Drive best practices in CRM usage and compliance.
Support system improvements and automation initiatives.
Pipeline Management
Monitor pipeline coverage and deal progression.
Identify risks to revenue attainment.
Track strategic opportunities and deal performance.
Support deal review and approval processes.
Reporting & Executive Support
Create dashboards for sales leadership.
Prepare board and executive-level reporting.
Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Support business reviews and strategic planning sessions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Marketing on lead generation and segmentation.
Partner with Finance on forecasting and revenue analysis.
Support Operations and Customer Success teams with reporting requirements.
Participate in sales enablement and training programmes.
Support sales process documentation and any associated ISO/Audit requirements as needed.
Skills and experience:
Proven sales analyst experience
Very strong analytical skills and the ability to create influential dashboard reporting.
Deep knowledge and understanding of Sales CRM’s and the process adopted by sales teams, specific knowledge of HubSpot and SAP is required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, dashboards)
Power BI or Tableau reporting
Sales forecasting and modelling, data analysis and interpretation
Strong numerical and statistical capabilities
Ability to deal with a rapidly changing environment, pivot and navigate as necessary, and drive for clarity.
Decisive execution skills, an eye for detail, and action-oriented, while maintaining good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Impact and influential skills at all levels of the organisation.
High personal accountability for self and others direct reports and associated teams.
Sales and marketing process knowledge is critical.
High degree of Microsoft Excel proficiency, experience with pivot tables and customized data reporting from static data sources
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
Ability to build financial business cases, and present financial sales data in a meaningful and understandable manner.
