AV Event Technician

📍 Pune, India (on-site 5 days per week) | 💼 Permanent, Full-Time | 💰 Negotiable depending on experience, plus Bonus & Benefits

Hours – 40 hours per week with shifts between 7am – 7pm

We are recruiting an AV Technician to join our established and talented onsite Audio Visual team at one of the world’s most prestigious and recognisable corporate companies.

Based within an iconic building, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious AV professional looking to further develop their technical expertise within a high-profile client environment.

You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional L1 AV and video conferencing support, providing first-line technical support for audiovisual systems, meeting rooms, and corporate events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting onsite, virtual, and hybrid meetings, ensuring all AV and collaboration technologies operate reliably while delivering an exceptional end-user experience.

This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment supporting business-critical meetings and events.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Event & Production Support

  • Provide technical support for corporate meetings, executive briefings, webinars, town halls, and hybrid events

  • Perform pre-event room setup, equipment staging, testing, and post-event shutdown activities

  • Support presenters with microphones, presentations, video playback, content sharing, and collaboration tools

  • Serve as the primary onsite technical contact during assigned events and escalate issues when necessary

  • Deliver high-quality support for executive and high-profile meetings while ensuring a seamless user experience

Video Conferencing & Collaboration

  • Configure and support meetings using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and other enterprise collaboration platforms

  • Troubleshoot video conferencing systems, cameras, microphones, speakers, Crestron switchers, QSC, AMP, displays, and connectivity issues

  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully operational before scheduled meetings through proactive health checks

  • Support virtual and hybrid meeting environments for both onsite and remote participants

AV Systems & Meeting Room Support

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily operational checks on AV equipment

  • Diagnose and resolve first-line hardware and software issues related to audiovisual systems

  • Set up and support conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, and collaboration spaces

  • Maintain AV equipment inventory and report equipment faults or replacement requirements

Service Delivery & Operations

  • Respond promptly to incidents and service requests in accordance with established SLAs

  • Record incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities using the organization's ticketing system

  • Collaborate with internal support teams, vendors, and global AV teams to resolve technical issues efficiently

 

What We're Looking For

  • Working knowledge of AV systems, meeting room technologies, and video conferencing solutions

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, or similar collaboration platforms

  • Knowledge of audio systems, displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, and presentation technologies

  • Familiarity with the multicamera AV setup having switchers, audio mixers, microphones, talkback, presentation and streaming systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Proven experience supporting Live events, AV systems, meeting rooms, video conferencing, or corporate event technologies.

  • Experience working in a corporate, managed services, hospitality, or enterprise IT environment
