Role: AV Installation Manager

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Singapore

Salary: Flexible and negotiable (dependent on experience), plus company benefits

Interview Process: 2 stage (Virtual and Face-to-face)

As our business and client base continues to develop further, we now have a newly created opportunity for an experienced AV Installation Manager to be responsible for managing the quality of the delivery of professional audio-visual solutions on our client sites; whilst supporting the ongoing development of our installation standards - Providing support, mentorship and training where required to colleagues and partners.

 

Depending on project requirements and scale, you will need to perform the role based from our clients site or our Kinly offices.

 

The successful candidate must be passionate about quality and service delivery to our customers with significant on-site experience in AV, construction and commercial project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess offsite rack build and provisioning works, and site installation works to ensure the highest standard is kept through all stages of a project

  • Assess working practices and site conditions to ensure a safe working environment

  • Assess quality of commissioned systems in line with best practice and project specifications

  • Provide feedback to our partner management team in support of continuous improvement of our sub-contractor network

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Kinly’s project delivery standards

  • Monitor project progress in cooperation with Project and Program manager(s)

  • Work with the project manager to coordinate project related resources and resource schedules

  • Supervise and/or coordinate Kinly team members, sub-contractors, and external trades

  • Oversee maintenance of project records including bills of material, asset registers, and drawings (red lines)

  • Customer engagement and collaboration at all levels

 

Skills and experience:

  • Expertise in installation, termination and configuration of professional AV systems

  • Experience in rack fabrication, prestaging, delivery, and on-site field termination

  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, cable types, and infrastructure standards

  • Experience with AV-over-IP technologies and digital signal processing systems.

  • Familiarity with networks and network protocols

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of AV installers and engineers

  • Proficiency in planning and managing the site logistics of AV installations

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders, explaining complex AV concepts in simple terms

  • Familiarity with AV industry standards such as InfoComm/AVIXA CTS

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex AV issues and implement effective solutions in high-pressure environments

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to unforeseen challenges

  • Enthusiastic to work in a global and collaborative team
