Role: AV / VC Event Technician
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: London, UK (located near Liverpool Street)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience), plus company benefits
Interview Process: 2 stages (Virtual and Face-to-face)
Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours (working between the hours of 7.30 am and 10pm)
Exciting new contract win for Kinly, on site at a truly global and prestigious organisation means we are creating a brand new role, for an experienced Audio Visual & Video Conferencing Technician, to take ownership for supporting the requirements of the client; providing maintenance/technical support of AV & VC equipment, Vision Mixing, Sound Mixing and Camera Operation on site.
Key responsibilities:
Set up, operate and maintain the onsite AV/VC equipment
Support meetings for Teams, Zoom and Webex etc.
Support end users as requested by the Client
Provide Event support including set up and operation of PA systems, VC System, projection systems etc - This could be in small Event environments or full auditorium setups
Provide Event Support to auditorium events utilising Sound Desk, Vision Mixing and Camera Operation skills
Skills and experience:
Ability to operate Videoconference hardware (Microsoft teams, Skype, Cisco, Webex, Poly etc) and to troubleshoot any potential issues relating to audio feedback, no video etc.
Proven experience in operating PA, projection and room control/booking systems (Crestron / AMX / Crestron touch Panels etc)
Proven experience with digital mixing desks, vision mixers and camera controls
Maturity, especially when under pressure and being able to maintain excellence in Customer Service with clients of all seniority levels
Excellent organisational and time management skills - this role involves last minute requests and as such, flexibility is also a key attribute
Ability to impart knowledge to those less skilled
Confidence when communicating with C-Suite stakeholders
InfoComm CTS certification would be advantageous
Experience of working in a customer service environment
Experience of corporate Audio-Visual or UC solutions
