Key responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage the vMix live production system for multi-camera podcast recordings and live streams

  • Manage multiple microphone inputs (lavalier, condenser, dynamic) and ensure clean, clear audio for all guests

  • Monitor and troubleshoot audio in real time, resolving feedback, interference, or signal issues during broadcasts

  • Coordinate with post-production for audio clean-up, mixing, and mastering of final episode deliverables

  • Maintain and calibrate all audio equipment including microphones, headphones, DI boxes, and patch bays

  • Operate and switch between multiple studio cameras (PTZ and manned) during live recordings

  • Direct camera movements, framing, and shot selection to complement the flow of each episode

  • Configure camera settings (white balance, exposure, colour profiles) for consistent studio aesthetics

  • Manage recording media and ensure all footage is properly labelled, backed up, and delivered

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for high-profile guests, senior executives, and VIP interviewees

  • Brief guests on studio protocols, microphone technique, and on-camera best practices before recording

  • Develop and maintain production runsheets, technical riders, and show templates

  • Collaborate with producers, hosts, editors, and marketing teams to ensure seamless episode delivery

Skills and experience:
