Role: Senior AV Technician

Location: Central London

Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time – 40 hours per week between 07.00 – 16.00 Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience), plus company benefits

Interview Process: Virtual Interview, followed by face-to-face on client site

 

New opportunity has arisen, working for Kinly, on site at a globally-renowned organisation. This client site is one of the most impressive spaces in London’s business district and now they are looking for a proven Senior Audio-Visual Technician to provide the on-site support services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite AV support services Monday to Friday between 07:00-16:00 (based on a 40hr week with actual hours to be agreed)     

  • Complete any immediate repairs affecting daily operations, escalating where required to either client support team or the Kinly remote Service Desk

  • Perform a weekly test of the training rooms - Resolve and report faults escalating if required

  • Utilise ticket management platforms such as ServiceNow to report and respond to incidents

  • Ensure SLA’s are tracked and adhered to

  • Be the first point of contact for non-event space issues

  • Assist with escalated faults in the event spaces

  • Contribute regular feedback and information to the client and ensure workable technology standards are adopted at a local level 

 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Strong Knowledge of AV including AVoIP, along with strong experience of solutions such as Crestron, Christie Spyder, Q-Sys, BiAmp, Lightware, Extron, Video Walls IPTV, etc.

  • Avixa CTS & manufacturer certification preferred.

  • Excellent people skills.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizational ability.

  • Passionate customer service attitude and proven customer service

  • Extensive experience working in a pressured operational environment.

  • Understanding of ITIL methodology and Service Management preferred.

  • Fully IT literate with strong MS Office skills.

  • Strong technical writing skills and document management

  • Ability to work alone, or as part of a team
