Role: AV Event Technician
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience), plus company benefits
Interview Process: 2 stage (Virtual and Face-to-face)
Hours: Monday – Friday – (9.00 am - 5.30 pm)

Exciting new opportunity has arisen on-site working at a major global organisation, working as an audio visual event technician, to support across their video and audio conferencing estate.
Key responsibilities:
Video/audio conference set-up and support
Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems
Carrying out video conference software
Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems; investigating faults and recommending further actions to rectify
Supporting virtual events
Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order
AV equipment set-up and support
Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including event duration support
Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting
Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure
Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
Assisting with first line fault repairs
Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments
Skills and experience:
Proven experience working in a similar role
Working knowledge of virtual technologies including but not limited to - WebEx, Zoom and Teams
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English and a strong understanding of Dutch
Customer-first mentality
