Role: Calculator
Contract type: Full-time, One-year contract
Location: Breda (hybrid working; mix of working at the office and at home)
Salary: €3,292 - €4,730 (depending on experience), plus company benefits

The Calculator is part of Kinly's Technology, Consultancy & Design department, reporting to the TC&D Manager and works closely with Sales, Sales Support, Project Management, Work Preparation, System Specialists and Finance.
The team operates at the cutting edge of AV/UC technologies, which means you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest innovations in audiovisual and cloud solutions across a diverse project portfolio, creating a rich landscape for professional growth.
As a Calculator, you will collect and analyse all the necessary project data (e.g. High Level Design, Detail Design, functional/technical descriptions or tender documents) and work with all the different teams within Kinly to determine the time and cost of this investment; and ultimately ensure a realistic (cost) price for the realization of the project.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor the calculation and performing calculations based on key figures and lessons learned
Maintain and update the key figures in the calculation program
As a calculator, you are part of the Bid Team, assisting with drawing up offers regarding tenders
Determine and name financial risk items and formulate this to fit in with the quotation
Check the quotations for accuracy and check the Bill of Materials
Determine and name operational risk items and formulate this to the project leader
Ensure a clear demarcation of the work if necessary
Commercial estimation from Sales translated into operational planning estimation
Consult with the TC&D Manager to arrive at a realistic calculation
Evaluation of projects after delivery to revise the key figures
Periodically check the post-calculation to improve the quality of calculations
Test the results with Project Leaders to improve the calculation process
Has an active and advisory role in the development of cost price calculations of standards towards the Product House Records lessons learned with regard to the deviation from the key figures and adjust them
Job requirements
HBO working and thinking level
Experience as a Calculator in an AV, E or ICT environment
Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing
Service institution
Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
Knowledge of D-Tools is an advantage
