We now have a brand new created role, working on site at a major global organisation in the City, who will be reporting directly into the Digital Event Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering and managing global virtual and hybrid events through customised streaming event platforms.
We are looking for someone who is extremely detailed-oriented and who thrives working in a highly visible, fast paced, and multitasking capacity at the cutting edge of communications and technology.
Key responsibilities:
Delivers and manages virtual and hybrid events across the firm, ensuring excellent user experience for internal teams and clients worldwide. Facilitates the planning, setup, and live running of high-profile client events and large-scale internal meetings, collaborating with marketing, film and media, and third-party providers.
Manage technical aspects, including tests, teleconference coordination, onsite production, etc.
Manage webcast interactivity including chat capabilities, polling, Q&A and provide post-webcast metrics.
Consistently meet project timelines and deliver flawless webcast events.
Keep all project stakeholders informed throughout project life cycle: pre-event, live-event, and post-event.
Troubleshoot technical problems before/during/after the event.
Quickly solve problems and make quick decisions during the production of live events.
Supports and trains colleagues across the business to empower self-service in hosting virtual events, creating accessible training and documentation for non-technical users.
Drives continuous improvement by developing and refining internal best practices for virtual event delivery.
Working with executive producers to assist with the successful operation of the onsite studios.
Skills and experience:
Experience as a webcast producer.
Proven experience delivering and supporting virtual and hybrid events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex Webinar, and Cisco video conferencing technologies.
Solid technical understanding of audio-visual equipment, including Crestron, Extron, QSC, and Shure systems, as well as event production software, for example vMIX and OBS.
Excellent organizational, planning and management.
Knowledge of digital sound desks.
Knowledge of Analog Way presentation switchers.
Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates composure and resourcefulness under pressure, managing challenges proactively and maintaining service standards.
