Job description

Role: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Breda (we operate a hybrid working policy allowing for a mix of office/home working)

Salary: €2,800 - €3,500 per month dependent on experience, plus company benefits

Interview Process: 2 stage (Virtual and Face-to-face)

Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday - Friday

As our business and client base continues to develop further, we now have an opportunity for someone passionate about logistics and highly organised.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager you will be the main point of contact within the warehouse and logistics department, ensuring that all logistics processes run smoothly and that the warehouse is properly managed.

You monitor the planning, manage a small team, and actively participate in preparing and loading national and international shipments. You are someone who sees opportunities, implements improvements, and brings colleagues along in those changes.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organised layout of all types of inventory in the warehouse

  • Responsibility for stock counts and inventory accuracy

  • Check incoming goods for accuracy, completeness, and any damage

  • Processing barcodes in the system and place goods in the designated warehouse locations

  • Contribute positively to the setup and adjustment of purchasing and logistics processes

  • Maintain contact with external carriers, as well as monitoring contracts and costs

  • Responsibility for daily activities related to the inbound and outbound goods flow

  • Manage tool inventory and consumables, ensuring timely replenishment

  • Timely and accurate processing of all necessary information regarding inbound and outbound goods in the system to maintain the Just-in-Time (JIT) principle

  • Manage the logistics employees; motivating employees to get the best out of themselves, and supporting them with guidance and advice

  • Conduct performance and appraisal reviews with staff

  • HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) coordination on projects: preparing for safe working and ensuring safety during project execution

 

Skills and experience:

  • Fluent in Dutch is essential - please only apply if you are fluent in Dutch & English

  • Experience working in a similar coordinating role

  • Preferably experience with local and international logistics shipments

  • Strong attention to detail
