Role: People Business Partner – Global Services

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience, plus company benefits

Location: Sunbury upon Thames (hybrid arrangement allowing a mix of office/home working)

As we continue to grow, an opportunity has arisen, working within our highly collaborative international People team, to act as the trusted business partner across Global Services and our Managed Onsite teams, leading in advising on all people related activities and projects.


Key responsibilities:

  • Line management of 3 People Coordinators based in India, US and UK
  • Regular discussions and collaborative stakeholder management with the Talent Acquisition team ensuring they are meeting global services needs and succession planning is visible
  • Ensuring there are subject matter experts on US, HK, Singapore, India & growing European entities such as Germany, Poland and Switzerland or that the right mechanisms are in place to gather this information in a timely manner
  • Support & final approval on international payrolls & expenses
  • Provide proactive advice, commercially & business focused for the Global Services teams, 121s with department heads, line managers & team meetings with employees on a regular cadence
  • Manage the performance review process across US, APAC and EMEA, coach line managers and champion best practice with support from UK & Ireland team
  • Focus on employee engagement and grow engagement levels across Global Services
  • Create policies relevant to international entities and drive positive implementation
  • Train and work with Managers & team leads on ensuring succession planning
  • Train and support line managers in employee relations including dispute resolution, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and performance
  • Train and support People Coordinators development in employee relations as above
  • Lead on any TUPE or acquisition processes, with emphasis on training out international employment law to People administration team
  • Support resource planning for Global Services and provide regular headcount and forecasting reporting
  • Be a DEI champion, fostering and driving conversations throughout the Global Services leadership team
  • Support the Global Services team as and when required for contract renewals, RFPs, tenders, contract and accreditation renewals

Job requirements

Skills and experience:

  • Previous international experience in a similar role working as a HR / People Business Partner
  • Previous experience of HR & Payroll systems
  • Resilience and capable of working at pace
  • Process driven
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • People leadership capability
  • Good operational skills
