Role: Preparation Engineer – Audio Visual

Location: Breda, Noord-Brabant (hybrid working, allowing a mix of office and home working)

Contract: 12 months

Salary: €3,000 - €4233 (depending on experience), plus company benefits

Our engineers are key to our business and so working as a Preparation Engineer you will play an important role through effective planning for our projects.

As a Preparation Engineer, you are responsible for all preparatory work for the installation projects that we undertake.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide the Technical Engineers & Preparation Coordinator with all the necessary materials and documentation for the installation work at the client - plus you provide the documentation for the Assembly engineer for production activities
  • Responsible for an accurate and efficient preparation of the production work as well as the progress of installation work on site
  • Provide the installation materials for the Technical engineers
  • Quality control of the custom-made products
  • Monitor the progress on the current assignments and take the necessary actions
  • Co-responsible for the final inspection and testing of the assembled orders
  • Responsible for the final control of the outgoing funds and for the equipment, installation materials, customization and documentation for the installation projects
  • Responsible for complete and correct documentation for production and installation work
  • Provide work instructions for the installation work for the Technical Engineers
  • Planning and monitoring that products are ready and checked on time
  • Partly responsible for the total efficiency of the installation project.

Job requirements

Skills and experience:

  • Experience working for an AV system integrator or as a Production Employee
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM system
  • Experience with MS-Office package
  • Capable of reading technical drawings
  • Knowledge of AV products
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
