Role: Site Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience), plus Company Benefits

Location: New York, US on client site (permanent on-site role)

Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Interview Process: Initial Teams interview; 2nd stage on-site

We have a portfolio of blue-chip clients and the current opportunity we have available is working on one of our most prestigious customers, with the opportunity to join our collaborative project operations team, managing the service delivery to our customer across their construction and commercial project environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and/or coordinate project related resources, including Kinly team members, sub-contractors, key stakeholders and external trades

  • Report on progress in cooperation with Project and Program manager(s)

  • Configuring and commissioning of low complexity solutions

  • Carrying out site surveys and providing detailed reports to the project team to identify risks and make recommendations for the project

  • Conduct ongoing quality inspections relating to project(s). This includes monitoring site conditions to ensure appropriate delivery of sensitive equipment

  • Coordinate project and resource schedules to accomplish project milestones according to the project schedule, including UAT and sign off with end users

  • Provide user-training to end client

  • Ensure safe working conditions and manage safety incidents

  • Customer engagement and collaboration

  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure technical knowledge is gained to successfully deliver projects

  • Maintain and update proper project records including bills of material, asset registers, and drawings

Job requirements

Skills and experience:

  • Solid experience working in a similar role

  • Expertise in installation, termination and configuration of professional AV systems

  • Good technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment from all major brands

  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, cable types, and infrastructure standards

  • Experience with AV-over-IP technologies and digital signal processing systems

  • Familiarity with networks and network protocols and of AV industry standards such InfoComm/AVIXA CTS

  • Ability to conduct site surveys and assess room readiness

  • Ability to understand project schedule and plans

  • Proficiency in planning and managing the site logistics of AV installations

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders, explaining complex AV concepts in simple terms

  • Troubleshooting on-site issues with clients and managing expectations

  • Compliance with industry standards (AVIXA/BICSI)

  • Desired Safety and Technical Certifications

  • Excellent technical documentation skills
