Role: AV Event Technician

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London, UK

Interview Process: 2 stages (Virtual and Face-to-face)

Hours: Shifts could be: 07:00 – 16:00 or 10:00 – 19.00

With the expansion of one of our key global customers, we now have an opportunity for a proven AV Event Technician to join our dynamic AV Support Team of eight, at our client's headquarters in London City, covering 100 meeting rooms, Auditorium, Dining rooms, Restaurant and Fitness Centre.

We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment at a high profile, Law Firm; someone who can carry themselves well with Lawyers and Clients, providing a high-class service both personally and technically.

We’re looking for someone keen to learn and progress in this role

Key responsibilities:

  • In-person meeting room support for high profile internal and external clients

  • Assisting with connecting to room kits and assisting with joining virtual meetings

  • Weekly AV functionality checks

  • Virtual hybrid meeting support; supporting all major platforms -MS Teams/Zoom, Webex

  • Virtual Court Room support - technical support for custom built Case room for QC and Council

  •  Auditorium event support

  • Audio desk operation, Vision mixing and Lighting set up

  • Event planning and provision of Hybrid event support

  • Assisting with AV technical issues worldwide where required

  • Contributing to Global Centre of Excellence as an example to other offices.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role, within a corporate setting

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ideally CTS certified or willingness to achieve the qualification (paid for by the company)

Knowledge of the following will be required:

• Cisco video conferencing hardware and software

• MTR

• Crestron control systems

• QSC processing

• Digital Audio mixing desks

• Vision Mixers

• Lighting control

• Dante Level 1

• QSC Level 1
