Role: AV Project Deployment Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: New York City (on-site)
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits including: health, vision/dental insurance; disability, vacation, sickness, 401K, commuter benefits & employee assistance program
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

Working as the AV Project Deployment Analyst you will deploy AV solutions to ensure a consistent user experience throughout our key client estate; collaborate with approved AV vendors to commission AV systems locally and in other regions, provide initial AV user training, manage the decommission and disposal of legacy AV equipment and provide support for the wider AV team for planning and procurement.
Key responsibilities:
Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and deliver AV solutions
Collaborate with corporate real estate & other IT teams for project delivery
Work with the approved AV vendors to produce AV drawings that include power, data and containment locations
Co-ordinate tasks and activities to support requirements through the project delivery cycle working across IT, Testing, environment & release management
Handover new AV systems to the AV operations team
Update the Asset Management system to include new AV equipment, equipment relocations and disposal
Ensure quality, cost and project timelines are met
Manage demand challenge process and business approvals.
Represent Media services for Project Steerco meetings and work with teams assigned to deliver projects
Skills and experience:
Essential:
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions
Ability to manage budgets and ensure delivery of projects is executed with value to the customer
Ability to analyse project plans over multiple projects to find trends and process gaps
Extensive knowledge of Audio Visual Technologies in a variety of applications and spaces including – Auditoriums, Meeting Rooms, Digital Content delivery
Technical knowledge of MS Teams / Cisco Conferencing technologies
Operational knowledge on Crestron, AMX & Extron control/switching technology
Comprehensive knowledge on core network and telephony components, required to deploy AV.
Able to communicate with non-tech customers, be trusted to influence customer decisions, and deliver a solution that is at both the individual level and the service level.
Able to represent Media Services and collaborate effectively with colleagues outside immediate teams and departments with-in UK, AMER, EMEA & APAC
Must be able to recognise how project delivery is part of the service lifecycle and believes in win-win.
It is essential that the role holder has an overall understanding of the Media service and colleague requirements for the service to be able to deploy additions or changes to the service
Desirable:
AV Certification like CTS/CVE/Cisco certifications is preferred
PMP/ITIL certification will be preferred but not a mandatory qualification
Experienced in designing and implementing AV solutions end to end
Experienced in working in a corporate environment engaging with all levels of seniority
Comprehension of technical schematics and construction documents (plan sets, symbols, Line Diagrams, Gantt charts)
PRINCE2 Practitioner or expertise in other similar types of methodologies
