Role: AV Technician
Location: Hong Kong (on client site)
Salary: Excellent (Dependent on experience), plus company benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, working a shift rotation, covering the hours of 08:00-17:00; 08:30-17:30 and 10:00-19:00

As one of our major clients continues to expand and require additional services from Yorktel-Kinly, we now have an opportunity for a proven AV Engineer / Technician to join our highly talented onsite team at a fantastic client site in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:
VIDEO/AUDIO CONFERENCING
Video/audio conference set-up and support
Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems
Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems
Investigating faults and recommending further actions to rectify
Supporting virtual events
Working with virtual technologies including but not limited to - WebEx, Zoom and Teams
GENERAL AV MEETING ROOM SUPPORT
Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order
AV equipment set-up and support
Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including duration support
Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting
Quick response to emergency/ad-hoc requests
FAULTS AND ROOM CHECKS
Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure
Ensuring that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner
Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly
Assisting with first line fault repairs
Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments
Skills and experience:
Proven experience within a client facing Corporate Events field in AV / Live events field
Knowledge of Video Conferencing, control signal switching / routing and distribution systems.
Technical support experience of Live events setup including PTZ camera, multi-camera control systems, Audio and vision mixing systems.
Understanding multiple display types including aspect ratio and video walls.
Candidates must have strong AV technical knowledge to be considered and excellent English language ability.
