Role: Business Development Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Sunbury / London (Global travel to client sites / Kinly offices may be required)
The Global Services Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities, focusing on Global Corporates. This role involves consultative selling of Kinly’s Global Services offering along with building strong relationships with new customers. The successful candidate will be a key advocate for the Kinly brand, aligning with its core values, and will help in expanding the company's footprint in global markets.
This role offers a dynamic and growth-oriented environment for a candidate passionate about global business development and strategic sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for a targeted list of clients, outlining strategies for revenue growth which are regularly reviewed and developed.
- Client Relationships: Build and foster trust-based relationships with clients to facilitate long-term growth.
- Reporting: Provide weekly (and ad-hoc) reports detailing intelligence around opportunities, pipeline, and performance in collaboration with account managers.
- P&L Management: Collaborate with the global and local customer services teams to manage profitability for each account.
- Revenue Targets: Take ownership of achieving gross profit targets across a defined account base.
- Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies and governance by improving templates and processes, in collaboration with the Global Services and UK operational teams.
- RFP Management: Oversee and contribute to RFPs for accounts managed by the Strategic Sales team.
- Sales Process Ownership: Ensure all sales processes are efficient, well-documented, and governed appropriately.
- Forecasting & Analytics: Prepare accurate forecasts and reports on client profitability, pipeline and sales performance.
- Client Documentation: Ensure that all client documentation is accurate, meets quality standards, and contributes to a seamless customer experience.
- Internal & External Communication: Facilitate effective communication across internal teams, external suppliers and customers.
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities in global markets, including new customers, markets, and partnerships.
- Generate leads and pitch Kinly’s Global Services proposition to key contacts.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and creating strategic plans to meet them.
- Think and work strategically, setting objectives and executing operational plans to drive business growth.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Kinly’s Global Services and how they add value to clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing department on promotional strategies and activities.
- Keep abreast of global market trends and industry changes.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy to access new customers.
- Build, manage and continuously develop a sales pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing with customers, aligning innovative solutions with client needs.
- Drive increased sales and annuity revenues within the Global Services division.
- Present sales forecasts and strategic analysis to senior management, including the UK Leadership Team and the CEO.
- Contribute to the development of the business’s overall sales and marketing strategy.
Additional Tasks: Undertake any other tasks deemed within the scope of the role by the company which may change from time to time dependent on the needs of the business.
