Role: Junior AV Event Technician

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London, UK

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 (dependent on experience), plus company benefits

Interview Process: 2 stage (Virtual and Face-to-face)

Hours: Monday – Friday – shifts to fall between the hours of 7:30 am - 7:00 pm

Exciting new opportunity has arisen on-site working at a major global organisation, working as an audio visual event technician, to support across their video and audio conferencing estate.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Video/audio conference set-up and support

  • Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems

  • Carrying out video conference software

  • Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems; investigating faults and recommending further actions to rectify

  • Supporting virtual events

  • Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order

  • AV equipment set-up and support

  • Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including event duration support

  • Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting

  • Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure

  • Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.

  • Assisting with first line fault repairs

  • Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments

 

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role

  • Working knowledge of virtual technologies including but not limited to - WebEx, Zoom and Teams

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer-first mentality
