Role: Audio Visual Subject Matter Expert (Projects)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Bangalore
ROLE SUMMARY
The SME will play a pivotal role between Project Managers, Program Manager and client in the commissioning of systems remotely and will be the primary technical support contact through out the project delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- To act as the primary commissioning contact, to ensure that systems are installed to our strict commissioning guidelines and policies and within the specified timeframe.
- Ensuring asset information is accurately captured and entered to the online platform provided internally or externally from client.
- Solid understanding of Modern Workspace Technologies with emphasis on Microsoft Teams Rooms & Cisco Webex.
- Sufficient understanding of CMD and PowerShell.
- System configurations – QCS, APC, Crestron, and any network device.
- Program uploading – Crestron, QSC, and any AV device.
- To provide in depth troubleshooting remotely.
- Advanced fault finding & troubleshooting.
- Support Project Manager in the successful delivery of all projects within project timeline.
- Communication with local and global teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure technical knowledge is gained to successfully deliver projects (Cisco/Crestron/Extron/Samsung/Microsoft and various others).
- Attend system handover meeting with project team and client when required.
- Communicating with Technical Specialists including manufacturers and client.
- Creation of documentation by following client and company standard.
- Full in inspection forms accurately and in timely manner (System checklist, commissioning checklist, any SME related checklist).
- Meeting Project Managers in weekly basis to fully understand the assigned work tasks, be able to prioritize the tasks based on project requirement and be able to complete the tasks within agreed schedule.
SKILLS PROFILE
- Excellent technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment from all major brands.
- Knowledge & understanding of Network Concepts & Protocols.
- Knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams & Teams Rooms, Microsoft Pro Portal.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills in IP technologies, also in Support or Service desks environment.
- An up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace including products and trends.
- Ability to read and work to schematic drawings.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Experience working in fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work as part of a global team and on an individual basis.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and proactively.
- Make continuous quality enhancement.
WORKING HOURS
8am – 5pm IST, Monday to Friday, Business Day
