Role: Video Editor - Studio Technician

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week: (Monday – Friday 9am – 5.00pm) - Shift flexible between 6:00 am and 18:00 pm

Location: London on-site

Salary: Competitive and negotiable dependent on experience, plus company benefits

We now have an opportunity for a proven Video Editor /Studio Technician, to work on a key client site to provide in-house video services to the operational departments across the estate; this ranges from transcoding a video file to creating a bespoke production. You will also be editing and delivering content shot by the video department, planning, shooting and applying postproduction to video projects and recording and editing content in the Green Screen studio.

 

Key responsibilities:

Bespoke Video Production

  • Edit content in collaboration with clients to an exceptional standard using Adobe Premier CC / Adobe After Effect/ Adobe Photoshop

  • Import, label and organise footage and audio files after shoots

  • Contribute to the conceptualisation of projects

  • Stay on top of technology trends, the latest devices and software, and video production best practices

  • Regular maintenance of equipment checks

  • Liaising directly with clients for briefing and updating

 

TV Studio/Tech

  • Coordinate the TV studio requests and keep facilities up to date

  • Set up cameras, lighting rigs, audio equipment and teleprompters prior to shoots

  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organisation to high standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues on-site in real-time

  • Use file syncing/backing up software to backup hard drives

  • Demonstrate your experience with live broadcast and webcast and with CCU systems, Creston systems, and Blackmagic ATEM switcher

Skills and experience:

  • Proficiency with Cannon Cameras (C200 and C300)

  • Competence using both Mac and PC as well as general file management

  • High quality communication skills, both verbal and written, and capable of articulating information in a clear and concise way

  • Able to multitask and manage time and stay calm in fast-paced shoot environments

  • Proven experience in a studio environment

  • Strong editing skills in Adobe CC

  • A deep technical understanding of digital and analogue audio and video signal processing standards and protocols

  • Experience of working within a corporate environment

Qualifications

  • Video Production / Filming / AV / Event Management related degree (eg video / audio / vision / lighting / theatre production or proven experience in a similar role

  • Infocomm AV Essentials
