Role: QHSE Associate
Location: Breda, Noord-Brabant (3 days on-site, 2 days working from home)
Salary: € 3,600 – €4,400 (depending on experience), plus company benefits

We now have an opportunity for a new colleague to join our collaborative Breda team, to take responsibility for identifying, analysing, designing, and implementing the overall business processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders within the business to identify processes that can be improved and to develop solutions to achieve these improvements; and you will initiate, stimulate, monitor and coordinate all QHSE topics within Kinly.
Key responsibilities
Setting up, disseminating, managing, promoting and improving the quality, safety, health & environmental care policies
Identifying, analysing, designing, and implementing business processes to improve business efficiency and effectiveness
Managing the inventory of certifications to be obtained and implementing and maintaining QHSE management systems
Performing internal audits and supervising external audits, while making recommendations for improvement(s)
Registering and analysing HSE performance, including reports of accidents and facilitating workplace inspections
Maintaining, modifying, improving and managing the emergency response plan
Monitoring and helping to reduce energy consumption, waste streams and CO₂ emissions across the business
Coordinating recycling programs and circular initiatives
Implementing environmentally friendly procurement and transportation strategies
Supporting with certifications such as ISO:9001, 14001, VCA or environmental management systems (e.g. Ecovadis)
Writing and maintaining manuals and processes; creating management information and advising about QHSE trends and developments
Facility program management
Positively promoting the culture of safety and ensuring knowledge and awareness among employees
Providing training in the field of quality, safety, health and safety and the environment
Ensuring transparent reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, managing ESG and integrity risks and implementing sustainable and innovative facility solutions in line with ESG objectives
Assessing and selecting facility suppliers in collaboration with the team, maintaining contracts with suppliers and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Skills and experience:
HBO working and thinking level, preferably in one of the following directions: business administration, information science, safety science, quality and process management, legal
Experience in supervising ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, VCA and RIE audits
Knowledge of and experience with Lean/ Six Sigma
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding security, privacy and information security
Certificate VCA-VOL
Good command of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing is essential
Proven experience working in a similar position
