Position: Manager Quality, Safety, CSR & ESG
Location: Breda, North Brabant (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary: €4,125 – €5,500 (depending on experience), plus secondary benefits

We are looking for a new colleague to join our collaborative team in Breda. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and improving management systems in the areas of quality, safety, working conditions, and environmental care.
You will receive functional guidance from the Operations Director and report directly to the Managing Director. You will initiate, promote, monitor, and coordinate QHSE-related topics within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, manage, and improve management systems for quality, safety, occupational health, and the environment.
Local point of contact for ESG & CSR.
Act as program manager for safety, occupational health, and environmental matters.
Identify required certifications and develop an action plan (e.g., ISO standards, VCA, SCL3).
Develop policies based on objectives, including financial justification.
Implement and maintain QHSE management systems in practice.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits; make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and act as the point of contact for deviations or deficiencies.
Record and analyze HSE performance, including (near) accidents and incidents; facilitate workplace inspections and toolbox meetings.
Conduct risk assessments and evaluations (RI&E) in close collaboration with HR (e.g., PMO/PAGO).
Manage, update, and improve the emergency response (BHV) plan in collaboration with the head of BHV and HR.
Write and maintain QHSE manuals and processes; provide support and advice to the senior management team.
Perform process, variation, and trend analyses, including environmental and CO₂ reporting.
Provide training in quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental topics.
Support the organization in further developing CSR initiatives, in collaboration with global colleagues and the local CSR steering group.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on health, safety, ESG, and CSR.
Experience guiding ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VCA, and RI&E audits.
Knowledge of and experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
Thorough knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
Possession of a VCA-VOL certificate.
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage constructively at various levels and build support.
